Class Description

Whimsical Clay Bird Feeder Workshop Create a charming handbuilt bird feeder that brings feathered friends to your outdoor space! In this fun workshop, you'll craft a unique ceramic bird feeder using simple handbuilding techniques. During this hands-on session, you'll learn: - Essential clay handbuilding techniques - How to create functional, weather-resistant ceramic pieces - Methods for adding texture and decorative elements - Bird-friendly design considerations for your feeder No experience necessary! Our instructor will guide you through each step of the process. Minimal enrolment required. All materials included Teens welcome! NOTE: A minimum number of students must be enrolled for the class to proceed. Full refund if it's cancelled.

Cancellation Policy

Studio Policies Students are not permitted to load, unload, or operate pottery kilns. Keep hair tied back for safety. Avoid wearing loose articles of clothing or jewelry that could pose hazards. Closed-toe and closed-heel footwear must be worn in the pottery studio. Do not operate any equipment without the presence of an instructor. We are a scent-free environment. All completed work must be collected from Ford City Potters within 6 weeks after the final class, once you're notified by email. Work will not be stored after 6 weeks. Students are expected to arrive on time for each class to ensure the smooth running of the session. Late arrivals cannot make up for lost time. For whatever reason, if Ford City Potters must cancel a session or class, students will be notified via email, and a full refund will be issued. Classes must be paid in full upon registering on the website (credit card or PayPal accepted). Classes are non-refundable. Makeup days are possible only for glazing days, and only if a space is open in another class. Students are expected to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment in the classroom, treating the instructor and fellow participants with courtesy and consideration. Zero tolerance for disruptive or disrespectful behaviour. In other words, be kind at all times.
