Class Description
All Levels Welcome! Create with clay in our supportive 6-week pottery wheel class designed for everyone from first-timers to experienced potters. During this hands-on course, you'll: - Learn fundamental wheel throwing techniques to create bowls, mugs, and more - How to centre, pull, trim, and glaze. - Work at your own pace based on your experience level - Receive personalized guidance from our expert instructor Beginners will be guided through each step of the pottery process, while experienced students can work independently on personal projects with assistance as needed. All materials and firing included. Minimum enrolment required or full refunds issued. No makeup classes permitted on shorter sessions.

Cancellation Policy
Studio Policies Students are not permitted to load, unload, or operate pottery kilns. Keep hair tied back for safety. Avoid wearing loose articles of clothing or jewelry that could pose hazards. Closed-toe and closed-heel footwear must be worn in the pottery studio. Do not operate any equipment without the presence of an instructor. All completed work must be collected from Ford City Potters within 6 weeks after the final class, once you're notified by email. Work will not be stored after 6 weeks. Students are expected to arrive on time for each class to ensure the smooth running of the session. Late arrivals cannot make up for lost time. For whatever reason, if Ford City Potters must cancel a session or class, students will be notified via email, and a full refund will be issued. Classes must be paid in full upon registering on the website (credit card or PayPal accepted). Classes are non-refundable. Makeup days are only possible if space is open in another class during the same session, and only one class per session can be made up. If it's a glaze class you want to make up, and it's not possible to schedule it during the session, we will glaze your items for you. Students are expected to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment in the classroom, treating the instructor and fellow participants with courtesy and consideration. Zero tolerance for disruptive or disrespectful behaviour. In other words, be kind at all times.
