Class Description

Make the berry bowl that's been all over your feed: a spiraling berry bowl with built-in drainage, perfect for rinsing and serving fruit straight from the colander to the table. Week 1 — Throwing We'll throw all the components: the bowl (with its signature center cutouts), the funnel, and/or the donut to make the funnel. Come ready to get your hands dirty — these pieces take a bit of precision, so wheel experience is required. Week 2 — Assembly Once everything's leather-hard, we'll assemble the pieces into the finished spiral form, cleaning up seams and refining the final shape. After class: we'll bisque fire and dip your berry bowl in the glaze colour of your choice — pick up once it's out of the final firing. Two sessions, one bowl, endless berries. wheel experience recommended. NOTE: A minimum number of students must be enrolled for the class to proceed. We are a scent-free environment.
