Cute, Functional, Fun

Class Description
Sculpt your own 3-dimensional tile in red stoneware to create a piece with real character and depth, learning basic sculpting techniques along the way. We'll demonstrate fish and and human faces and hair guiding you through every step, from wedging clay to adding the finishing details that make each tile one of a kind. Personalize it with a name, a word, or just let the shape speak for itself. Each tile is twice-fired in our kiln and left beautifully unglazed — the warm terra cotta tone of the natural clay is the finish. But if you prefer a glaze, you can choose a colour for us to dip. All materials included Teens welcome! NOTE: A minimum number of students must be enrolled for the class to proceed. Full refund if it's cancelled.
