Wednesday Drop-in Wheel Classes
Class Description
Want to try your had at the wheel, but don't have time for a full class, or you're only in town for the day? Book an hour and give the wheel a spin. Fun for date night, girls night, or something for the family to try. NOTE: Please book your session on the hour--instructions promptly begin. Best to come five minutes before to get set up. Bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. The last five minutes are for clean up. EXTRAS: $30 for shipping if necessary, otherwise pick up your pieces in 4 weeks. $20 for storage, if you fall in love with your piece and decide you want to come back to trim it or glaze it the next drop in. We accept payment on site— debit, credit or e-transfer to fordcitypotters@gmail.com. You can extend your time on site. *If you stop in at 7 p.m. you have until 8:00 p.m. to finish your session.

Studio Policies Students are not permitted to load, unload, or operate pottery kilns. Keep hair tied back for safety. Avoid wearing loose articles of clothing or jewelry that could pose hazards. Closed-toe and closed-heel footwear must be worn in the pottery studio. Do not operate any equipment without the presence of an instructor. All completed work must be collected from Ford City Potters within 6 weeks after the final class, once you're notified by email. Work will not be stored after 6 weeks. Please bring something to bring your stuff home in, a box or a bag and something in which to wrap your pieces. Students are expected to arrive on time for each class to ensure the smooth running of the session. Late arrivals cannot make up for lost time. For whatever reason, if Ford City Potters must cancel a session or class, students will be notified via email, and a full refund will be issued. Classes must be paid in full upon registering on the website (credit card or PayPal accepted). Classes are non-refundable. Makeup days are only possible only for glazing days, and only if a space is open in another class.
